Vung Ro Petroleum selects INEOS Technologies’ Innovene PP process for Vietnam oil refinery

Vung Ro Petroleum has engaged INEOS Technologies to provide its Innovene PP process for the manufacture of homopolymers, random copolymers and impact copolymers for its refinery complex which is being developed at Hoa Tam Commune, Dong Hoa District of Phu Yen Province, Vietnam.

Expected to be in operation by 2017, the refinery and petrochemical complex will have a capacity of 8 million tonnes annually. The 900 KTA Innovene PP plant will produce a wide range of polypropylene grades to serve the growing demand of the Vietnamese and Asian markets.
